2024 Mercedes EQS – Automated Valet Parking (WORLD’S FIRST) / Mercedes EQS Self Parking 😳

Bosch and Daimler have created Automated Valet Parking, a driverless system for car parks that employs smart parking infrastructure to navigate the vehicle to an empty parking space, park the vehicle, and relieve the driver of their usual stress. The automated parking system in the Mercedes-Benz Museum car park in Stuttgart has been approved by the competent authorities in Baden-Württemberg.

What exactly is automated valet parking?
The car may be left in the drop-off location of the parking garage without further delay, and all the driver has to do is activate the smartphone app. Automated valet parking in Stuttgart Airport’s P6 parking garage was recently approved as the world’s first highly automated driverless (SAE Level 4) parking function garage for commercial usage in Germany – a world-first for the commercial use of this driverless parking system.
