The all-new Lexus RX lineup features electrified powertrains, with the RX 350h hybrid serving as the entry point and the range-topping RX 500h F Sport Performance serving as the hybrid hero. The RX 500h F Sport Performance is not only Lexus’ most powerful hybrid SUV in Australia, but it also redefines the Lexus Driving Signature with a slew of dynamic performance enhancements.

The RX 500h F Sport Performance’s steering, braking, and handling have all been sports-tuned, going beyond the mild sporting modifications associated with traditional F Sport variants. The fifth-generation Lexus SUV has been completely reimagined and redesigned, with all variants looking more aggressive on the road and offering new levels of comfort, refinement, and driving enjoyment.

The launch of the all-new RX is exciting, according to Lexus Australia Chief Executive John Pappas, given the model’s popularity and significance in this market.

The RX 350h Luxury hybrid starts at $87,500 plus on-road costs and tops out at $126,000 plus on-road costs for the RX 500h F Sport Performance.

The top-of-the-line RX 350h has a high-performance 2.4-litre turbocharged petrol engine in a parallel hybrid arrangement, a Lexus first, producing 273kW and mated to a six-speed automatic transmission and DIRECT4 all-wheel drive (AWD), while the RX 350h has an intelligent hybrid powertrain that produces 184kW and is available with either two-wheel drive (2WD) or AWD for an additional $4,500.

Aside from the entry-level and high-performance hybrid powertrains, buyers can opt for the RX 350 F Sport, which features a turbocharged performance petrol engine with 205kW and 430Nm of torque and electronically controlled AWD grip for a traditional sporty feel. It starts at $99,900 plus on-road costs.
