The 2025 Mercedes-Benz EQS 580 is a luxury electric sedan that received several upgrades for the 2025 model year.
Exterior Design: The most noticeable change for 2025 is the revised front fascia. It features a new grille design with a more prominent Mercedes-Benz star emblem and chrome horizontal slats. The EQS 580 also comes standard with an AMG Line bumper for a sportier look.
Interior Design: The interior of the EQS 580 remains largely unchanged for 2025, but there are a few new standard and optional features. These include a new executive interior with a front passenger seat that can be folded down to provide extra space for the occupant in the second row. The seat can also be reclined by 38 degrees for added comfort.
Battery and Performance: The biggest change for the 2025 EQS 580 is the new battery pack. It has a usable capacity of 118 kWh, which is up from 108.4 kWh in the 2024 model. This increase in battery capacity results in an estimated range increase of around 11%. While exact performance figures are not available yet, the 2024 EQS 580 produced 516 horsepower and could accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 4.3 seconds.
Range and Charging: Thanks to the new battery, the 2025 EQS 580 is expected to have a range of around 390 miles on a single charge. This is according to estimates from Mercedes-Benz, and the EPA has not yet released official range figures. All 2025 EQS models come with 200-kW fast-charging capability, which can replenish the battery from 10 to 80 percent in about 31 minutes.
The 2025 Mercedes-Benz EQS 580 is a significant improvement over the 2024 model. It offers a longer range, a more powerful battery, and a few new features that make it even more luxurious and comfortable. Pricing for the 2025 EQS 580 has not yet been announced, but it is expected to start at around $126,895.
