2024 Ford RANGER – ALL-New Ford RANGER 2024

Ford Motor Company announces the release of its highly anticipated 2024 Ford Ranger pickup truck. The all-new Ranger is loaded with innovative capabilities that allow owners to explore new locations and take on new challenges designed to fulfill the exacting needs of adventure-seeking clients.

The 2024 Ranger is the most connected and capable Ranger ever produced and is the only midsize pickup truck that is Built Ford Tough. The vehicle boasts a sturdy frame, suspension, powertrain, connectivity, and advanced driver assist software, all engineered to cater to the needs of its customers.

Ford’s global truck portfolio has consistently been a hit among customers, with over 1 million pickups sold worldwide in 2022. The Ranger has been a significant contributor to this success, with Ranger sales globally increasing by 112% in the last decade, and over 86,000 units sold so far this year.

In recognition of its exceptional performance and value, the 2023 Ranger was recently awarded by Kelley Blue Book for having the lowest five-year total cost of ownership in the midsize pickup truck segment, taking into account factors such as insurance, maintenance, fuel costs, and depreciation.

The all-new 2024 Ranger comes with improved towing technology and storage features, as well as an available 2.7-liter EcoBoost V6 engine for added power. The Ranger’s durability and reliability have been put to the test, having been subjected to the equivalent of more than 4.9 million customer miles of testing before launch. This testing was done in various terrains, from harsh hauling and towing in America to broken road surfaces in Australia, as well as cold testing in New Zealand.

The truck’s fully boxed high-strength steel frame has been improved, with the wheelbase and track both stretched by about two inches to provide more bed space and improved stability. The outboard rear shocks and shock mounts have also been moved, enhancing ride and control. All Ranger versions have better ground clearance, approach, and departure angles and are built to take on any off-road challenges.

With a maximum available towing capability of 7,500 pounds and a maximum available payload capacity of 1,805 pounds, the all-new Ranger is built to carry stuff for all sorts of excursions. The basic engine is a 2.3-liter EcoBoost with 270 horsepower and 310 pound-feet of torque. Additionally, the available 2.7-liter EcoBoost V6 engine shared with F-150 and Bronco offers customers more power when towing, passing, and off-roading. All Ranger models come with a standard class-exclusive 10-speed automatic SelectShift transmission, as well as an available electronic shift-on-the-fly 4×4 system designed for on-demand off-road and low traction capability.

With its unrivaled performance, durability, and innovative features, the all-new 2024 Ford Ranger is ready to push the midsize pickup truck sector to new heights, making it the best vehicle for customers seeking adventure and thrill.
